Canon 5d MkII

I finally got my hands on a Canon 5d MkII today for the first time and got to try out the video feature. Very cool stuff. I’m looking forward to a couple big video projects I’ve booked for this year. Shooting felt really natural to me, more than I thought it might. I’m hoping Nikon releases something more along those lines soon. We’ll see what happens.
Mollie got the boys these plates for Christmas. They love them, and we no longer have to take turns with the red plate. Here are a couple snaps with the iPhone. For some reason, I just keep posting iPhone images. I realize one shot is probably enough, but if I post Henry’s I better post Jude’s.

My in-laws neighbors shed caught fire a few minutes ago. Naturally we all went out in the back yard to take in the action.

Our very own Chris Koelle has a new T-shirt design for sale at teefury.com. Chris works for GP part time doing some retouching and design. He spends the rest/majority of his time working with his wife Annie as artists and creators of various things, including, but not limited to, awesome T-shirts.
After midnight tonight, however, it’s history so get it while there’s getting. They’re a deal at $9 and purchasing a shirt will support Chris as well, so this is a win win.
Brand New, Brand New, Brand New

Welcome to the brand new blog. Brand new only because it’s the first. I’m going to do my best to post a couple images from each of my shoots and note any other work in which I’ve been involved. Lately I’ve been behind on my post production due to the busy shooting schedule, but I’ll post things as soon as I get through processing. I suspect posts on this blog will probably run about a week behind the shooting schedule, but who knows.
Since there won’t be a lot of images of me, at least I don’t think there will be, I thought I’d post an image so you’ll know who is behind the camera and keyboard. I’m a commercial and lifestyle photographer based in Greenville, South Carolina. I shoot an occasional wedding and enjoy the challenges of event photography as well. My wife, Mollie, and I have three children, Henry, Jude, and Lola. You’ll most likely see them on occasion here.
I hope you enjoy some of my images.
