Cue the Magnum PI
June 28, 2008 | Filed Under General
Last week one of my clients took me up for a spin in a helicopter. We were in the air for 2 hours and fifteen minutes, and captured some aerial shots of several properties he will be selling. It was my first time in a helicopter, and I had a blast. I requested the doors be taken off so as not to obstruct my view etc. Basically it was like being in a jeep without any doors or windows, but around 1000 to 1500 feet up in the air. I never once felt like I was in danger.
Below are several images I took that day. We were shooting down over Lake Keowee, but we also got the chance to circle downtown Greenville a couple times so I could get a couple shots of that as well.
Thankfully, if anything were to go wrong the aircraft was well equipped with a fire extinguisher. Unfortunately the fire extinguisher was about the size of a can of mace.
Fearless.
At some point in history, someone said, “Let’s dig here.”
This is where Over the Hedge was filmed. Oh wait…
